Werkstatt is a multipurpose space dedicated to develop and support the creative community around contemporary dance and performance in Frankfurt. Its aim is to facilitate artistic practice, and bring light to the crossing between art, knowledge and society.
Despite offering itself as a rehearsal space for the freelance scene, Werkstatt also facilitates workshops, events and becomes a meeting point for different communities.

Right next to the big hall, there is a small entrance on the left side. You will find the studio on the 1OG, at the end of the corridor.

Werkstatt is an initiative of work of act and began in collaboration with Joblinge at Danzig am Platz in 2021. From 2021 - 2023 the project received supported from DIEHL+RITTER/TANZPAKT RECONNECT, which is funded by the German Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as part of the NEUSTART KULTUR initiative as well as Strukturforderung Kulturamt Frankfurt, Joblinge, NeueStart Kultur #TakePart.
